The Capital Development Authority of Pakistan is constructing the first Krishna temple in Islamabad. However, now that the construction of the temple is closed, the government has now decided to consult the Islamic Ideology Council regarding the temple.

Fatwa continues against temple construction

For this, the Government of Pakistan had also announced a grant of Rs 10 crore.
Mufti Ziauddin, the religious education institution Jamia Ashrafia, said that government money cannot be spent in building temples or other religious places for non-Muslims in the Islamic country. It is against Islam to do so.
The temple will be built in an area of 20 thousand square feet
It is known that Krishna Temple in H-9 area of Islamabad will be built in 20 thousand square feet. The foundation stone was laid by Pakistan’s parliamentary secretary for human rights Lal Chandra Malhi.
The first Hindu temple to be built in Islamabad with the help of the government, will cost Rs 10 crore
Religious affairs minister Pir Noorul Haq Qadri had said that the government will bear the expenditure of Rs 10 crore for the construction of the temple. Islamabad Hindu Panchayat has named this temple Sri Krishna Temple. The land for this temple was given in the year 2017.
