-Pakistan Train-Bus Collision: A major train accident occurred on Friday in Shekhupura district of Punjab, Pakistan.
Shah Hussain Express train and a passenger bus collided with a severe collision.
In the incident, at least 20 Sikh devotees (20 Killed in Train-Bus Accident) died on the spot.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and the President have expressed grief on the incident.

Pakistan Train-Bus Collision: A major train accident occurred in Sheikhupura district of Punjab, Pakistan on Friday. Where a huge collision between the Shah Hussain Express train and a passenger bus occurred. At least 20 Sikh devotees (20 Killed in Train-Bus Accident) died on the spot in the accident. However, more than a dozen people were seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Prime Minister Imran Khan and the President have expressed grief over the accident.
Railway and local relief and rescue people have reached the spot after the accident. According to media reports, 22 people from a Sikh family were in the coaster, who were going from Peshawar to Nankana Sahib to attend a funeral. The coaster driver was trying to go through the railway crossing instead of the road. Meanwhile, a high speed train coming from Lahore near Farukhabad railway station hit the bus.
20 devotees died on the spot
Railway officials said that the accident was so horrific that the bus flew away, while 20 devotees died on the spot. He said that all the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. Imran Gondal, Deputy Secretary Shrine AveQ Trust Property Board said that all Sikh pilgrims were Pakistani citizens and residents of Peshawar. He said that the bodies of the dead have been sent for post-mortem to Mayo Hospital Lahore, while the injured were admitted to hospital in Sheikhupura and Lahore.
Deeply saddened at the accident this afternoon at a railway crossing near Sheikhupura which resulted in the death of atleast 20 people, mainly Sikh pilgrims returning from Nankana Sahib. Have directed that proper medical care be provided to the injured.

Some passengers are in critical condition
Officials said that some of the injured are in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at the district headquarters hospital in Sheikhupura. At the same time, the injured people were rushed to the accident after first aid.

PM Imran, President expressed grief
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep grief over the train accident in Sheikhupura. The Prime Minister has directed the officials to provide the best medical facilities to the injured. President Dr. Arif Alvi also expressed grief over the accident.
