Among all the nonsense that this is, this is something that I think should be focused on: these days, a governing minister gets information from random news sources, and then, without checking their accuracy, just goes on and tweets about it. Then she may go “whoops” later.
It’s pretty much the same as what everybody else does, but when it’s done by the institutions, I think we should all do a reality check on how ridiculously we’re using this internet tool. Everyone has suddenly started having smartphones and tweeting all day, but few of them have ever gained any sort of “internet culture”, and they almost don’t seem to realize that the words they tap on their phone are actually public actions with consequences.
