A weeklong SEVA SAPTAH organized by Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) concluded in Kashmir with diverse social events being held in various parts.
While issuing a press statement BJP J&K general secretary and in charge for Kashmir Vibodh Gupta said that in line with the entire nation, valley enthusiastically celebrated Seva Saptha to mark PM Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday.
Vibodh said that during the Seva Saptha various wings of BJP in valley carried out blood donation camps, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, cleanliness drive, distribution of fruits in various hospitals, plantation activities and many more programmes.
He said that the week-long activities of the party have motivated the party karyakartas to rejuvenate themselves to help others and serve the community and society.
Vibodh said that PM Modi is very close to the people of the valley as he has vowed to restore Kashmir to its past glory.
He further said that in past one year his visionary leadership has successfully brought Kashmiri youth away from the trap of militancy as the youth from valley joining militant ranks has dropped more than 40 per cent and militancy-related activities have reduced by around 36%.
Vibodh said that now the common men of Kashmir will lead from the front as development and power have reached to the grassroots level. “These revolutionary and structural changes have also united those who always kept people especially the youth of valley in dark”, he added while slamming Gupkar declaration as eyewash and illusion. He said, “Now people are having a greater sense of participation in public discourse which is visible from the youth in the valley joining security forces, civil services and excelling in the field of education and sports.”
