The Dubai Criminal Court has ruled a three-month prison sentence and deportation of an Asian (rent collector) on the charge of threatening a man with death through the latter’s wife, due to his delay in paying the rent. The victim said in the prosecution’s investigations that the accused came to his home, being responsible for collecting the sums for the monthly installments of the villa in which he lives and the rented for six families, pointing out that the accused called him twice to inquire about the amount of the rent, and the victim informed him that he did not receive his salary from the company he works He advised him to wait until he gets his salary in the coming days, in order to be able to pay the amount, but the accused kept bothering him with communications, so he stopped answering him.
He added that on the evening of the same day, the accused came to his residence and knocked on the door, and the victim’s wife and son opened the door, and at that time he threatened the accused, saying: “He will kill her husband if he does not pay the money, and he must be deported to Pakistan.” So he wrote a communication against him.
The accused threatened the victim’s wife to kill her husband.
