A woman has been charged with the murder of a 10-year-old boy in west London.
Olga Freeman, 40, was charged by detectives from a specialist crime unit over the Acton killing, the Metropolitan Police said.
Officers and paramedics were sent to a residential address in Cumberland Park on Sunday morning after a woman in her 40s walked into a police station in the early hours.
The body of a 10-year-old boy, who police believe was known to Ms Freeman, was found at the address.
Officers believe they know the identity of the boy but await formal identification, Scotland Yard said. Next of kin have been informed.
