Islamabad Pakistan’s Imran Khan government (Pakistan Government) has received a severe blow once again for not taking action against terrorists and in terms of Terror Funding. In fact, the FATF (Financial Action Task Force), an international organization that monitors Terror funding worldwide, has decided to put Pakistan in the ‘gray list’ on Wednesday once again.
The decision of the FATF comes at a time when Imran Khan is trying to show to the whole world that Pakistan is taking action against terrorists and that no terrorist activities are being carried out from Pakistan. In such a situation, the decision to retain Pakistan in the ‘Gray List’ is a big blow for Imran Khan.

The FATF meeting was held on Wednesday through video conferencing due to Corona infection (Covid-19), which reviewed the steps taken by Pakistan to stop terror funding and terrorist activities. It was found that out of 27 action plans given by FATF, Pakistan has taken action on only 13. Therefore, it was decided to continue Pakistan in the gray list at this meeting. The FATF admitted that Pakistan did not take any specific steps to curb the terror funding of terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Let me tell you that it was to be decided in the meeting whether Pakistan should be put on the black list or retained in the gray list. Finally once again Pakistan was given a chance to rectify its mistake and it was decided to remain in the gray list till October.
