In this episode, Pakistan is also seeing an increase in cases of corona infection once again. In such a situation, the local government is taking a big decision. The government has implemented a lockdown, taking a major decision amid rising cases of corona in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
Lockdown has been imposed in seven cities of Punjab. This ban will come into effect from Monday. Let us tell you that the lockdown was imposed last year due to Corona epidemic. Now about a year later, the lockdown has been announced in view of the rapid rise in cases of corona infection. The seven cities of Punjab where the lockdown has been imposed include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala and Gujarat. The lockdown will remain in force for two weeks in all seven cities.
There will be a ban in all these places
The Punjab government has said in a statement issued on Saturday that there will be a complete ban on the movement of people during the lockdown. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on conducting all kinds of ceremonies for social, religious or other purposes in any place, public and private.

The wedding-party hall and community center will also remain closed during the lockdown. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on indoor and outdoor food. The statement said that there would be a complete ban on all kinds of sports, cultural and other activities and programs throughout the province. However, only takeaway and home delivery will be allowed during lockdown.
Travel restrictions on flights until 18 March
Let me tell you that in view of the increasing cases of Corona in Pakistan, the government has taken a big decision and has extended the ban on flights for some time. On Saturday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said in a notification that the restrictions have been extended to 18 March.
Earlier on March 1, the CAA implemented new rules for inbound flights, private and chartered aircraft. It is known that so far more than 6 lakh people have been infected with corona in Pakistan, while more than 13 thousand people have died. However, more than 5 lakh people have recovered.
