Coronavirus In Pakistan continues to wreak havoc in Pakistan too. In this episode, the Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Peshawar High Court, Judge Waqar Ahmed Seth Death, was hit by the corona virus and died on Thursday.

On October 22, 59-year-old Justice Seth, who sentenced former President General Pervez Musharraf to death, was infected with the Corona virus. He was later admitted to a hospital in Peshava when the condition worsened.
Subsequently, when Justice Seth’s health deteriorated, he was shifted to Kulsoom International Hospital in Islamabad, where he died on Thursday. Justice Seth is survived by his wife and daughter.

Let us tell you that Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth became the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court in June 2018. During his tenure, he had heard a number of high-profile cases, the most famous being the execution of former President General Pervez Musharraf.

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed grief
Prime Minister Imran Khan has mourned the death of Justice Seth. Imran Khan tweeted, writing- I am saddened by the demise of Waqar Ahmed Seth, Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court. may his soul rest in peace. Amen. My condolences and prayers are with his family.
Apart from PM Imran Khan, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and National Assembly Speaker Asad Kaidar have also expressed grief over the death of Justice Seth.
