Government issued notification

Let us tell you that on 18 August, the Pakistan Government had issued two notifications declaring restrictions on Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The Pakistani newspaper ‘The News’ reported that the government of Pakistan has imposed restrictions on 88 heads of terrorist groups and their members in compliance with the new list issued by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

According to the report, sanctions have been ordered to seize all movable and immovable properties of the banned organizations and their bosses and seal their bank accounts. The list includes Hafiz Saeed, Masood Zahra, Dawood Ibrahim, Mullah Fazlullah (aka Mulla Radio), Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Muhammad Yahya Mujahid, Abdul Hakeem Murad, Noor Wali Mehsud, Fazal Rahim Shah of Uzbekistan Liberation Movement, Taliban Jalaluddin Ahmedqal Haqqani, Yahya Haqqani, and Abraham and his associates.

Let me tell you that even before this, while taking action on Hafiz Saeed and his associates, their bank accounts were sealed, but in the past, after a court order, their bank accounts were again activated.
