Islamabad Political infighting continues in Pakistan and the opposition is continuously trying to pressure Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), a joint coalition of 11 opposition parties, has given an ultimatum to Imran Khan to resign by 31 January, otherwise be prepared to face a wider mass movement.
Earlier in this episode, the opposition is trying to pressure Emraan Khan by rallying and demonstrating in many places. Now on Tuesday (January 19), the leaders of PDM are planning to protest outside the Election Commission. At the same time, Maryam Nawaz, the vice-president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and daughter of former PM Nawaz Sharif, will also hold a big rally in Rawalpindi.

Many big leaders will be involved in this demonstration on Tuesday. Apart from this, prominent lawyers, doctors, nurses and farmers of the country will also participate in the demonstration. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that the Election Commission will take the right decision and will not come under the pressure of the government, so there will be a demonstration outside the Election Commission.
