Islamabad Monsoon rains have wreaked havoc in all neighboring countries including India. While there are flood conditions in many states of India, in neighboring country Pakistan too, life is badly affected due to floods after heavy rain.
After heavy rains in Pakistan in the last two months, more than 300 people have lost their lives in floods and other incidents, while 239 people have been injured.

Giving information, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management has said that floods, landslides and other incidents have occurred due to continuous heavy rains for the past two months. So far more than 300 people have died in these incidents.
Relief work in progress
Let us tell you that the relief work is going on continuously among the people suffering due to rain in Pakistan. The National Disaster Management (NDMA) said that rescue and relief operations were being carried out in the affected areas. In this, the respective departments of government, army and non-government organizations are engaged in relief and rescue work at their respective levels. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is the worst affected due to rain. So far 48 people have died in this province, while 42 others have been injured. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said in a press conference on Friday that 47 people had died in Karachi alone.

He said that in August, Karachi recorded 604 mm of rainfall. Due to torrential rains, there has been a frightening situation in Balochistan. Thousands of Lods became homeless after several incidents of landslides and floods hit many homes.
