At a gathering of youth on the occasion of ‘Talent Quest, Conflict Confronts’ organised by anti-drug Youth organizations, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah Chairman of Kashmir Society International & Jamaat Aitqaad International, who was the chief guest, said that Kashmir youth should be proud of their civilization.
Irfan Attari and his team had organized program, where Rashida Mir of Pulwama, a young female novelist, Uzair Bukhari, and Babar were guests of honour besides scores of youth were present. The event was held at the auditorium of Hungry Café near the iconic clock tower in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Renzushah thanked the gathering of youth who have made their name and carved out their space in fields of literature, music, art, painting, Sufi verses despite challenges.
“Kashmir is an abode of knowledge for the last five thousand years and Hiuen Tsang came to Kashmir for acquiring high-quality knowledge,” Renzushah said, adding, “No doubt during the last 72 years literature of hate, conflicts, and contradictions were imported with evil intent to devalue the high contribution of Kashmir based 7777 Awaliyas and scholars, However, our youth has continued to remain under the influence of great saints and Awaliyas of Kashmir and admire their indigenous literature.”
Renzushah further said that today’s youth have proved that they have the capacity and capability to restore the glory of Kashmir civilization as a symbol of love, unity, and Aitqaad.
At the conclusion of the full-day event, awards and trophies, and meritorious certificates were handed over by Chief Guest Farooq Renzushah to deserving youth.
A painting of Renzushah made by a Kashmiri artist was presented to the Chief Guest on the occasion.
