With the arrest of a suspected ISIS operative, a major terror strike was averted in the national Capital. The accused was nabbed from the central Delhi’s Ridge Road area following a brief exchange of fire.
UP DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi sounded an alert in the State following the arrest of an alleged ISIS operative in Delhi.
Security checks have also been intensified along the Delhi border in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. The terrorist, Mustakeem Khan, alias Abu Yusuf, is a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Balarampur district. He was under watch and he had planned to carry out a “lone wolf” strike in the Capital.
