Jammu Tawi|Sep 8: Some officials of Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir tested COVID positive given which access to the High Court Premises has been ordered closed as per SOPs for two days for sanitization. The urgent cases listed for Sep 9th and 10th would be taken up on Sep 11th, while the dates on other matters would be listed on the HC website on Sep 11, 2020. No person except the sanitization workers will be permitted entry.
The order was made by Chief Justice, Geeta Mittal, JK High Court. The order reads, “The Registry has informed that today some officials in the Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir have tested COVID-19 positive. As per the SOPs issued by the Government access to the High Court Premises in Jammu Wing of the High Court has to remain closed for two days for sanitization purpose. No person except the sanitization workers will be permitted entry into the High Court premises on 09th and 10th of September, 2020. Urgent cases listed on 09th and 10th of September, 2020 in Jammu Wing of the High Court shall be taken up for consideration on 11th September, 2020. Dates in other matters will be given by the concerned Bench Secretary and will be posted on the website of the High Court of J&K on 11th September, 2020.”
