Jammu Tawi, March 18: The Officers transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioners have assumed the charge of their respective districts today. Immediately after taking over the charge, the new DCs at the outset interacted with their staff and impressed upon them to attend to public service delivery promptly and work with dedication.
Anshul Garg, assumed the charge of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu here this afternoon. Immediately after assuming the office, he chaired an introductory meeting with the officers and staff of the Deputy Commissioner Office in the conference Hall. He made a special mention about the punctuality and evolving work culture so that the work of general public may not suffer.
He laid emphasis on the public grievances received from the Lieutenant Governor, Secretariat and stressed on the redress of the same in a time bound manner.
Inder Jeet today took over the charge as Deputy Commissioner Poonch replacing Rahul Yadav who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Kathua.
Inder Jeet is a 1999 batch KAS officer who has earlier served at various challenging assignments in J&K including Director Agriculture and others.
Ajay Kumar Sharma today took over the charge as Deputy Commissioner Reasi. Sharma was welcomed by senior officers of the administration at the district headquarter.
Indu Kanwal Chib today assumed the office as new Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur.
The officers presented a brief profile and overview of the main schemes of the district. She impressed upon the district/sectoral officers to adopt a coordinated approach to achieve the goals set for development in line with Government’s focused areas.
Anuradha Gupta today assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner, Samba.
Soon after assuming the charge, the DC took an introductory meeting of district officers and sub-ordinate staff in her office chamber.
While addressing the meeting, the DC urged upon the officers and field functionaries to work with added dedication and honesty to further improve the present developmental scenario of the district.
Mohammad Aijaz Asad Thursday assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner Srinagar taking over from Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary who was accorded warm farewell in a function at DC Office here.
Mohammad Aijaz Asad while speaking on the occasion said he was honoured to take over as the DC of the historic and capital district of Srinagar. He praised the outgoing DC for the high standard of administration he has left in his wake and also thanked him for his words of praise.
Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today assumed the charge as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam.
He impressed upon them to adopt a coordinated approach to achieve the goals set for development of the district, besides mitigating public issues on priority.
