Yesterday, officials said that the Pakistani authorities had agreed to launch the third phase of testing for a vaccine against the Coronavirus, developed by Chinese institutes.
A hematologist at a local pharmacy company, Doctor Hassan Abbas Zahir, said that the test, which will include more than 10,000 volunteers, will begin within two days.
It is noteworthy that trials for the Chinese vaccine have already begun in China, Russia, Chile and Argentina, and will soon begin in Saudi Arabia.
The results of the first and second phase tests of the potential vaccine, which were completed during the months of May and June, showed promising results.
